Work in progress! My piece for Perfect Laughter’s Reclaimed show
My significant other found these license plates sitting all folded up in the top of a garbage can outside a Michael’s. I knew immediately they would be perfect for the Reclaimed show. These are just the backgrounds, but I think they help set the stage for the rest of the piece.

Day of the Dead Show Sneak Preview: Perfect LaughterDennis and Christina Jacobs are the talented husband and wife team that make up the screenprint extraordinaire that is Perfect Laughter. They aren’t only satisfied with making their mark on the art world with their own work, though. They also bust their asses to bring the amazing talent of other artists to light through their blog (which I have been known to guest post at now and again).
This is an actual sneak of a peak of a preview as it does not contain the whole image. If you are really curious, you can see the full image on their website right now.

Dennis and Christina of Perfect Laughter are such nice folks. They posted about our upcoming show on their blog. Thanks guys!

Here are some photos from the show opening at Lift this past Saturday taken by the lovely Dennis and Christina. I think I’ll be headed back over to Lift soon to pick up one of the posters they designed for the show. They look amazing.

I just published my latest contribution to Perfect Laughter. It is a recap of the new show to die, to sleep by fine artist Jen Beaudoin.

New post on Perfect Laughter :: Visions of MODOK

The show is filled with really strong work that I think you’d be remiss in not viewing, and I don’t say that just because I have a piece in the show.
