I’m spending my Saturday night stamping my Pirate Bunny logo on French Paper Company’s Pop-Tone Bubblegum envelopes. These lil’ guys will go with my “Pink Nightmare” greeting cards.

Gotta love the holiday craft season.

I’ll Show You A Pink Nightmare :: November 2010

This is a dual-duty piece. I wanted to make greeting cards this year to sell and for personal use with my loved ones. I also was invited to another one of Mike Kelly’s super-fun shows at The Majestic. I wanted to make the original a little bit special to encourage people to view it in person, so I used silver paint in the background. It looks neat in print, but it really pops in person.

On December 4th in Midtown Detroit you can both see the painting in person at The Majestic complex AND you can buy the greeting cards from me directly on the campus of CCS from 5-9pm during Noel Night.

Part of the layout sketch for my current project. The final painting will serve a dual purpose: part of the new Mike Kelly curated show opening in the Majestic on Noel Night, and as the design for holiday cards I’ll be selling this year at said Noel Night.
