These Michibun plates were my contribution to Perfect Laughter’s Reclaimed show at River’s Edge Gallery. I found them all folded up in a trash can outside of a Michael’s and immediately knew they had to go into this show.
Heather Hansma is an illustrator and lowbrow gallery artist based out of the Detroit area. You can generally find her Puff Bun™ characters participating in some form of pop culture parody.
