Day of the Dead Show Sneak Preview: Patti Haskins
There is something about crocheted stuffed animals that warms my heart when I see them, especially ones you can tell were made with love like this. They remind me there was a time when toys were something made by a person and not a factory. Even though this simultaneous homage to cats and Frida Kahlo features a stylized skeleton in class Day of the Dead form, it still looks like something I’d want to cuddle up with.
