Day of the Dead Show Sneak Preview:
First up is a sketch of part of the postcard I made for the show (which you will be seeing the final of very shortly).

The lack of updates doesn’t mean things have been slow. I have been so overwhelmingly busy that every time I sit down at my computer in the studio I start chiding myself because I have too much other stuff to get done. I’m working on my piece for Lift’s Natural Resources show, a painting for a holiday-themed show at the Majestic, and rebuilding my inventory for the gift-buying season. These are a part of that inventory. I made more Pirate Bunny and Skull! earrings and zipper pulls as well. There isn’t much in the Etsy shop for the same reason you haven’t been seeing much of my work here.

Things be crazy.

Crap, I haven’t even shown you guys my piece for the La Grotesque show! My pictures of it are on the other computer. I’ll try and get that up tonight. Speaking of La Grotesque, the show is having a closing party this Saturday night. Downtown Romeo is over-the-top for Halloween, so the event should be extra fun. Costumes are encouraged but not required. I hope I’ll see you there.
