Sometimes it is far more important to quickly sketch down an idea than it is to figure out the perfect composition. I’m going to try and squeeze in a painting of a haggard Cupid into the show, but I’ll first make sure to rectify the chaos of the wing/arm/bow/cigarette combo I have going on right now.

Working on an Average Joe Schmoe custom for LoveSick.

LoveSick opens in about 2 weeks (Feb 4th), so I’m painting like mad until then. This is what I’m working on at the moment.

Super secret sneak peek at a work in progress for LoveSick (well, as secret as something posted on my website can be).

I like using Hipstamatic for sneak peaks because it skews the colors while still showing a hint of what I’m up to. This is the progress on that New Years painting I showed you last week.

My piece for Perfect Laughter’s Reclaimed show

My significant other found these license plates sitting all folded up in the top of a garbage can outside a Michael’s. I knew immediately they would be perfect for the Reclaimed show. These are just the backgrounds, but I think they help set the stage for the rest of the piece.
